Visit from Northumbria University, Newcastle enlightened many of our Art & Design students to the wide ranging courses and state of the art facilities within the university. Courses included are Fine Art BA Hons, Fashion: BA (Hons) Fashion Design & Marketing, BA (Hons) Fashion, BA (HONS) Fashion Communication, Animation BA (Hons) Interactive Media Design, BA (Hons), Industrial design: BA (Hons) Design for Industry, BA (Hons) Interior Design, BA (Hons) 3D Design

 

What struck the students were the amazing state of the art facilities, the many burseries available, the exceptionally high rate of employement after completing the degree and the opportunities to work with well known and high profile companies and designers. 

They also learned that the space available for students to work was second to none. The facilities and machinery at the university were available to use after the students completed their degrees.

With the worries of finance, the financial incentives were very positive! If a student achieves 3 grade A's at A Level they receive a bursary of £4000, 2 grade A's a bursary of £3000, 1 grade A a bursary of £2000.
